SBISA Celebrates 105th Foundation Day with Website Launch and Felicitation of Former Office Bearers

Lucknow : The State Bank Staff Association (SBISA) marked its 105th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and dignity at the auditorium on the 8th floor of the SBI Head Office, Lucknow. The event was graced by Chief General Manager Deepak Kumar De as the chief guest, alongside SBISA General Secretary Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singh and President Ajay Pandey, who jointly launched the official website — sbisalucknow.org.

In his keynote address, Deepak Kumar De emphasized the importance of staying updated with new technologies in the rapidly evolving banking sector. He encouraged the staff to embrace digital transformation as an integral part of professional growth.

Bridging Distances with Technology

Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singh, the association’s General Secretary, reflected on the rich history of SBISA and the tireless efforts of former leaders in shaping the organization. He explained the utility of the newly launched website, noting that members posted in remote areas can now seamlessly:

  • Submit suggestions and grievances
  • Make guest house bookings
  • Contact office bearers
  • Access organizational updates

He described the portal as a vital bridge between the association and its members, ensuring inclusivity and streamlined communication.

Honoring Former Leaders

As a tribute to the foundation of the association, several former office bearers were felicitated for their contributions. Among those honored were K.K. Singh, Brijesh Mishra, Akhilesh Mohan, Rajesh Shukla, Yogendra Singh, and Anupam Kumar, who were presented with traditional shawls by Dr. Singh and Ajay Pandey.
